We were passing through Columbia and I did a search for some S. Carolina BBQ. We almost didn't see the restaurant on the corner and glad we finally found it. I ordered a pulled pork plate It was lip-smacking and finger-licking good. I highly recommend their spicy, mustard-based sauce. Get two!
My daughter and I love Big Boys. We order at least once a week from them. The workers are so friendly and by us coming so much I say we are family. The food is amazing and flavorful. The chicken, turkey wing, hash and rice , baked beans and Mac and cheese are just a few of are favorites to order. The portion size is big and you will be stuffed and ready for a nap. I recommend them you won't be disappointed.
Some of the best ribs in the metro. Some of their vegetables like Mac and cheese, collards can use some help. Love the baked beans though. There's always someone in line so they must be doing something right.

So good! My only complaint is the brisket was really fatty and the Mac and cheese could be creamier. Aside from those things, the baked beans were really good and so were the collard greens. The brisket also had a really good flavor, and that mustard sauce on top was great. The banana pudding was phenomenal.

Wow! Amazing brisket sandwich and the Mac n cheese was sooooo good. Big boys has it going on for barbecue. If you are in the vicinity just hop off the interstate and stop. This is seriously the best barbecue. Just know there's not a public restroom inside to use.
